The Beaver Colony is the first and youngest section of the Scout Movement, it caters for boys and girls aged 6-8 years.
To be added to our waiting list, visit the Contact page and complete the form. As a popular group in the local area our spaces do fill fast but we endeavour to get all young people into scouting as soon as we can.
Beaver Activities – Weekly meetings involve a varied programme of activities and projects based on ‘learning by doing’. We aim to provide elements of adventure, outdoor activities, being creative, becoming involved in their local community, a sense of achievement, fun and friendship….
Badges - All beavers will earn a variety of badges throughout their time with us. They can earn Challenge badges, Activity badges and Staged Badges*. To find out more about the badged click on the badge type.

Membership – Membership of Beavers is open to any young person after their 6th birthday until just after their 8th birthday after which they will normally move into our Cub Pack.
Subscriptions – The termly subscription is to be brought to the first meeting of each term.
We are working towards being a cashless group and aiming to process all payment via our online system Online Scout Manager.
Uniform – Beavers wear the following items of uniform:
Turquoise Scout Association Beaver Sweat Shirt
Grey and Green necker with Group Badge and woggle (we provide)
Our Beaver group meets in the local village hall within the Little Eaton area.
